Football Fanatics Tauranga is a junior football coaching programme dedicated to developing young players in a fun, supportive, and professional environment. Based in the heart of the Bay of Plenty, we believe every child deserves the chance to fall in love with football.

Xavier Maddox
Head Coach & Founder
Xavier is a passionate footballer and dedicated coach who believes every young player deserves a positive, high-quality development experience. Currently playing semi-professionally for Tauranga FC in the NZ National League, he brings real match experience and technical expertise to every training session.
With over five years of coaching at primary, intermediate, and club level, Xavier has a proven track record of developing young footballers — building not just their skills, but their confidence, teamwork, and love of the game. His philosophy is simple: create a fun, supportive environment where every child can thrive.
